Dr. Marlaina Nelson graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2009 from LaGrange College in her hometown of LaGrange, Georgia. Directly after veterinary school, Dr. Nelson commissioned into the United States Army Veterinary Corps, serving four years active duty and is currently serving as the executive officer for a local Montgomery veterinary detachment in the US Army Reserves.

Dr. Nelson lives on a farm in Pike Road with her husband Phillip Nelson, her son Corbitt and daughter Brinkley, their three dogs, and one cat.

Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and practices the highest standard of care. She utilizes her high level of dedication, hard work, and values to benefit her clients and patients to ensure she provides the best medicine possible.
