Difference between Day Care and Day Stay2020-07-16T20:37:30+00:00

DAY CARE is a cage free environment where multiple dogs play in our indoor and outdoor play areas. These dogs consistently attend day care three or more times a week. Each is placed on “teams” based on their temperament, play style, and energy levels. Our trained staff will evaluate your dogs and determine which “team” best fits your dog’s personality. Teams go out 5 times a day for 15-20 minute supervised play sessions.

Day Care is available Monday-Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM. Late fees will be incurred for pick-up after 6:00PM.

Call our office, at 334-260-8787, for pricing information.

DAY STAY involves boarding your dog during the day in one of our kennel condos between 7:00AM-6:00PM. Day Stay is offered so that the following types of dogs can still enjoy the Doggie Day Care program,

– Dogs that may not do well in a pack environment

– Needs extra attention

– Intact males

– Females in heat

– Dogs that can not attend daycare on a regular basis (at least two times per week)

Day Stay dogs may only interact with our trained staff (this will depend on each dog’s temperament and reproductive status) or may be allowed to spend exercise time with a small group. Exercising alone or with a small group will solely be at the discretion of our trained staff. This is to ensure the safety of your pet and the safety of our other pet guests. Day Stay participants that require private walks will receive three 15-20 minute private exercise sessions. All other Day Stay participants who can be exercised in small groups will receive five 15-20 minute supervised play times.

Day Stay is available Monday-Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM. Late fees will be incurred for pick-up after 6:00PM.

Call our office, at 334-260-8787, for pricing information.
