After Hours Emergency Care in Montgomery

May 14, 2019

At Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with the best care possible, and this includes seeing emergency patients after regular business hours.

For many years, we have offered after-hours care, and with all four of our veterinarians rotating after hours - it allowed our doctors time to rest and enjoy time with their families. Doctors Speight and Mitchell are now only seeing patients during regular business hours, but Dr. Zeb King and Dr. Jessica Loch will be alternating emergency shifts - in addition to seeing patients during regular business hours.

To allow our veterinarians to maintain their work/life balance - Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital will partner with Goodwin Animal Hospital & Pet Resort on Chantilly Parkway to provide after-hours emergency pet care. Dr. King and Dr. Loch at Taylor Crossing will rotate week-long emergency shifts Dr. Brad Fields, Dr. Lydia Glasscock, and Dr. Kelli Rigsby at Goodwin Animal Hospital & Pet Resort on Chantilly Parkway in Pike Road.

The process for contacting us with after-hours pet emergencies does NOT change. If your pet has an emergency - call Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital at (334) 260-8787 and speak to our After-Hours Veterinary Nurse. Our Nurse will assess the emergency and contact the doctor on call to provide you with the best resources and next steps to care for your pet.

Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital has the utmost confidence in Dr. Fields, Dr. Glasscok, and Dr. Rigsby at Goodwin Animal Hospital & Pet Resort to care for our patients' emergencies with the same skill and compassion we provide in our own clinic. We realize this is a significant change, but this allows our doctors the opportunity to spend more time with their families.
